Wrigley, Fenway, Yankee...... white, white, white with a little latino.

Blacks are speaking to this latent racism with their participation, and I don't blame them....

TOO MANY GAMES
The singular big event that was brought in by the Superbowl and PPV is all that people can fit into their busy schedule. 162 games in today's world is absolutely ludicrous. Nobody but hard core fans can follow a team every day. It's not like in the 40's when your read the box scores in the morning and there was no competition such as Internet and video games.

Baseball should scale back the number of games to 152, and re-instate Ruth's home run record, wiping PED era away.

PARITY
Nobody wants to watch their cellar teams stay there year in and out while the Yankees and Red Sox make it every year.

One solution is to open up the playoffs to 16 teams, which would create waaaay more interest, and allow some cinderella teams to make it in, and spice things up those cities, instead of waiting for one chance a decade, and knowing your team is out of the race by July......

Old fart thinking from the MLB Owners is going to kill a great game.

BTW - The game is too long, and batters should remain in the box instead of tightening their gloves and tugging at their shirts before each swing - it's fine when you're watching Sox vs. Yanks, but what about the Royals vs. A's.... no thanks -it's almost painful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
