EDIT: Okay, it's still not working at 9:10 AM, so here's today's strip:

This is why I was considering dumping Freehostia.
Figures. I wake up early enough to post the strip and Freehostia's not working. I'm not resorting to posting it on Da Blog, though. That would smack of cheating just to get the strip back to posting at 11 PM PT, and there would be little reason for me not to just schedule a post.

Yeah, do you know what's going on? The individual subdomains and sites are up, but the main domain (just freehostia.com) and the control panel (cp.freehostia.com) are still down....uh.
Could you let me know what ISP you're using? Because as I explain in my "Possible important notice" post, the problem seems to be on the ISP's end. I'd be very interested in hearing whether you have a non-Comcast ISP.
I am having the same problem AND I have Comcast.
My freehostia site is working just fine.
But I can't log in to freehostia.com.
It comes up as Problem loading page.
Sooo annoying.
We have a thread about this going on forum.freehostia.com in the Freehostia General Support section. Please have a look at it, and if you haven't already done so PLEASE contact Comcast and tell them that you're having this problem.
By the way, what's happening is that we can't access one specific IP address (64.72.112.12) which is where www.freehostia.com and cp.freehostia.com both point. None of the IP addresses linked to other freehostia subdomains (like forum.freehostia.com) seem to be affected.
